Planning an outing doesn’t have to be an overwhelming experience. We’ll help you make the right decisions in the weeks and months leading up to your event so that the big day goes smoothly from start to finish.

  • A few things to remember
    • Player Lists, Deposits & Contract

      You will be asked for a final confirmation as to the number of participants 7 days prior to the day of your event. A signed agreement and $500 deposit are required to secure the date for your event. We must receive a player list from you at least 3 days in advance of your event.

      Dress Code

      Event guests will be expected to wear appropriate golf attire on the course and in the Clubhouse. Only soft spikes or tennis shoes are permitted on the golf course or practice facilities. It is advised to publish these policies in your promotional materials to ensure your guests are informed in advance of your event.

      Food & Beverage Service

      Birkdale Golf Club will happily provide all the food and beverage service for your event. Some charity events may be permitted to provide donated product if you have received prior authorization from the club. In these cases, a prearranged fee may be required and an addendum will be added to your outing agreement. All ABC services must be provided by Birkdale Golf Club.

      Gratuities & Tax

      All food & beverage service, including on-course tabs, will carry an applicable service charge of 18%. State sales tax will apply on the cart fee and all food & beverage purchases, unless you are a tax exempt organization. Tax exempt organizations are required to provide an exemption certificate upon signing your outing agreement.
